6. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome extension requires the following permissions:

• storage: To store your referral data and authentication session locally
• activeTab: To read LinkedIn profile information only when you click the "Add to Referly" button
• host_permissions (linkedin.com): To inject our button and extract profile data from LinkedIn pages

We only access LinkedIn data when you explicitly choose to save a profile. We do not collect data from LinkedIn in the background or without your consent.

8. Data Retention
